It was through Yoga Laura first discovered the power of breath, and that realization began to penetrate and inform her life.  She has a strong commitment to Yoga as a discipline, and a firm belief in its ability to change, heal, and work positively in peoples' lives.

Yoga philosophy stresses the importance of many levels of discipline in our lives and encourages a regular practice of physical, mental, spiritual and devotional aspects.  Drawing wisdom from the ancient teachings of Yoga, her classes incorporate hatha and vinyasa elements, pranayama, meditation and deep relaxation She has a non-competitive approach to Yoga, emphasizes finding ease and comfort in the physical practice, and believes that anyone of any size or ability has something to gain from the practice.

Yoga is the search for wholeness.  We strive to find meaning in our lives, to deepen our understanding of and compassion for the human condition.  We want to become more integrated in all levels of our experience.  We desire union... of mind, body, breath, and spirit.
